Privacy Statement
LLF respects your privacy both on and off the Internet. We do not sell, rent or share the names or personal information of donors with other organizations. We take the following steps to ensure that your personal information remains confidential:

Credit Card Information: When you provide bank or credit card information to LLF on-line or through the mail, we take every measure to respect your privacy. Once your donation is processed, all but the last four digits of your credit card or bank account number are changed to an x to ensure your protection.

Database: Names collected from all sources are added to our databases. The information in each database is password protected and available only to approved personnel of the Lifetime Literacy Foundation. Donor names are acknowledged in our annual publications only with the individuals permission. You have the right to request that your name be withheld from our publications by requesting anonymous status of your donation.

eInformation: If you have provided LLF with your e-mail address by completing an online form or by forwarding us an e-mail, we may send you updates regarding our programs or annual initiatives geared to change the world through literacy. If you do not want to receive mailings from the LLF, please send us an e-mail at unsubscribe@lifetimeliteracyfoundation.org and your name will be removed. Please allow 7 business days for this change to be put into effect.

Paper files: All donation forms are stored in a locked area and are destroyed by shredding. Other paperwork is available only to our approved staff and will not be made available to volunteers or other organizations.
